“yesterday i hung out with a friend from group. we wrote positive quotes on index cards and posted them in the library/around the city. it was so fun! then we just hung out and talked for a few hours.
i didn’t want to eat dinner because i struggle with restricting.
she didn’t want to eat dinner because she’d binged and purged that morning.
but we decided we both should, so we’d help each other by both eating so neither had to be eating alone.
this is how friendships from group should work. or just friendships in general, actually. helping each other :)
i’m proud of us for both eating dinner last night & wanted to share this story because i think it’s a good reminder that even in a friendship where both people are struggling, you can bring each other up.”
